First, I must tell you that I had the Kolb book reprinted, but it was written by Daniel K. Cassel in 1895. I did look for more informatiion on your family and there was a card on file which stated that Gottlieb Kolb had children Charles F. and Mary Elizabeth who married Paul Wayne Lingle but there were no dates and no sources listed so it is a weak source. I did look in the 1850 census and there was a Gottlieb Kulp with a family in Germantown, 57 yrs old, born in Germany and a younger Gottlieb, 19 yrs old and evidently apprenticed out to become a harness maker and single in 1850. At the present time that's all I have.
