Seeking the parents, family background, and (German?) origins of Anna Christina CONKLE or KUNKLE or GUNKLE (1774-1846) who in 1794 married Stephen ULERY or ULRICH (1771-1826). They lived in Green County & in Washington County PA, near Zollarsville and West Bethlehem, PA. Thirteen children of this couple included: 1. Margaret Christina (1796-1880) 2. Catherine (1799-1862 or 1863) 3. David (1801-1878) 4. Jacob (1803-21 April 1868) 5. Stephen (1806-?) 6. Daniel (1807-?) 7. Hannah (1809-?) 8. Simon (1810-1895) 9. John (1811-1831) 10. Henry (1819-?) 11. Susannah or Susan (1813/15-After 1893) 12. Eli (1817-?) 13. Matilda (1815/18 - 1891) In September of 1829, some three years after Stephen ULERY, late of West Bethlehem Township, in Washington County, PA, had died, one of his sons, David ULERY, petitioned the Orphan's Court of adjacent Greene County, PA, in which his late father also had owned 115 acres of land, seeking the Court's permission to sell this land which had belonged to his father, who had died intestate, on behalf of Stephen ULERY's widow, Anna Christina CONKLE and 11 (of the 13 above named children; for some reason John and Daniel were not included in the petition listing) children, six of whom then were still minors. The 115 acres could not be split equitably, and so the land was to be sold and the proceeds divided. This eventually was done. Will appreciate any help in identifying the parents and family origins (Germany?) of either Anna Christina CONKLE (sometimes KUNKLE or GUNKLE) or her husband Stephen ULERY (sometimes WHOOLERY and sometimes ULRICH).
