Philip KUNKLE was born 25 Dec. 1780 in Knowlton Twp, Warren Co, New Jersey. He died 28 Sept. 1853 in Trucksville, Dallas Twp, Luzerne Co, PA. His wife, Anna Maria LaBar, the daughter of Abraham LaBar and Margaret Gordon, was born 12 Feb. 1778 in Upper Mt. Bethel, Northampton Co, PA. She died 13 March 1850 in Trucksville, Luzerne Co, PA.
All this data from newspaper clippings, cemetery records, and US Census records 1820 - 1850.
They had six known children:
* Sarah Ann Kunkle - b. 26 Nov 1807
* Jemina Kunkle - b. 28 Sept. 1808
* Conrad P. Kunkle - b. 1810
* Maria Kunkle - b. abt. 1815
* John (Maj.) 'Wesley' Kunkle - b. 1817
* Lydia Kunkle - b. 13 Feb. 1823
I have record of who each one married. Conrad, was married three times.
