Thank you so much for answering my post. I am very interested in hearing more about the book. Winifred's mother, Martha Tolbert, was the sister of my great great grandfather, Joseph W. Tolbert. I have very little information about this side of the family prior to Joseph. All I really know is that Martha and Joseph's parents, James and Charlotte, were married in Saline Co. Mo 1841. I can not for the life of me find out where they were before that date. They just appeared. My grandmother seemed to think this side of the family was American Indian but so far I have nothing to support this. I have been to the cemetery where Charlotte was buried but have not found her grave. The chapel has been rebuilt so I think her grave was moved (or not) during the reconstruction and not remarked. But I do have photos of Martha and Henry Clay Wright's stones if you are interested in that. I also have copies of James Tolbert's probate records too. Thank you again for answering the post. It's exciting to find another cousin no matter how distant.
