Thanks for the response..but, the only thing I know, is what I posted. I can't recall where I got this much info. My Mom had just passed and I was motivated to find out her line/s, even more. I found that her lines of Carters, went back to her mom's dad's mom's line of Lyons..so they were all related in some way or another. I'm searching for more answers but get more questions, instead, it seems. Wish I could recall where I got the n71776..as it says it's identical to my own mtdna results..but, I don't recall. Mostly her people were in Ky prior to a big move to Hunt Co., Tx, ca1900. My grandmother was the only one of the family born in Texas..all her siblings were b:Ky..in Knox or Bell Co (Bell was cut from Knox..when I don't know) Thx.
