Kunkle was new to me..but I found it linked to my geno test results..maternal line/s..My grandmtr's parents were both from Carter lines in Ky..her dad's mother was from the Lyons line..I show Mary Lyon, b:1902/Clyde MO. When I put in Wade as a search term, for Kunkle, I got this result. My grandmother's grandmom was a Nancy Walters-Carter, who's mother was Alcy(Alice?)Wade. Her other line was Barton/Moore/Love..married into the Carter line. They had a link to PA..where I think maybe the Kunkle/Lyons & even a Phillips may have entered into the mix. (Indiana..showed family from PA) Nancy Walters married Isaac Carter, a Rev War vet who got some land for his services, in Knox co., Ky and his family had been in VA...just fyi, for others to compare notes to..My grandmothers two Carters and her Gmtr Susan Malena Barton show up in Hunt Co., Tx 1900 Census, some went back to Ky by 1910. Thanks.
