Kunkle who served in Company G of the 87th Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry during the Civil War. He died as a result of wounds received at the 3rd battle of Winchester September 19, 1864. There was also a Jacob Kunkle in Company K; he deserted the regiment. Any knowledge?
