Greetings! This "hobby" of searching for relatives is only a couple weeks old for me but have already searched a good portion of sites. I've come to a dead end and perhaps one of you more experienced folks would care to assist a newcomer. Am searching for any information on Ida Jane Kunkle b. 10-6-1865 d. 5-30-1905. She married John Pitt Manners (b. 1866 d. 7-1929) in 12-1884. Apparently they lived around Indiana County, PA. Children are: Sara Emmaline b. 4-28-1886 d. in infancy, Effie Maud b. 2-15-1888 d. in infancy, Edna Mae b. 4-21-1890 d.?, Chester Rockwell b. 8-11-1892 d.?, Myron Oneida b. 5-1-1894 d. 11-1918 in France, Nellie Margaret b. 7-12-1896 d.?, Nola Elvira b. 1-19-1898 d. 2-15-1986, Latta Pearl b. 10-6-1899 d. in infancy, George Elmer Scott b. 4-23-1901 d.?, Fred Kunkle b. 12-15-1902 d.?. Ida Jane Kunkle is my maternal gr grandmother. My grandmother being Nola Elvira (who married George Robinson Fiscus). Ida Jane died a few months before turning 40 and all the surviving children were distributed among friends and ???. John Pitt Manners remarried shortly thereafter to a woman who apparently didn't want the children. (Yep, mentally tough on the kids to say the least!) We have a very old photo of Ida Jane but know nothing more. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
