I have lots of Kunkle family records on this line that where I've gathered data the past 20 some years on, and exchanged over the years Family Records from other researchers also. "Martin Stahlheber" was born 19 March 1811 in Michelstadt, Hessen, Germany. He died 15 July 1879 in Hecker, Monroe Co, Illinois. He is buried in St. Marcus Church Cemetery, 4 miles so of Hecker, Illinois.
He was married to my distant Cousin, "Catherine Kunkle" on 03 August 1837 in Bedford Co, PA. She was born on: 06 May 1817 in Woodberry Twp, Bedford Co, PA. She died: 28 July 1856 in Hecker, Monroe co, Illinois. She is the daughter of "John and Sharlott KUNKLE".
They had 7 known children.
#1) - John William Stahlheber, b. 18 November 1841
#2) - David - b. 25 Feb. 1844
#3) - William - b. 24 Nov. 1845
#4) - Wilhelmena - b. 23 Setp. 1847
#5) - Sophia - b. 31 March 1849
#6) - Charles - b. 25 Jan. 1851
#7) - George - b. 16 June 1853
