Hi, I'm trying to start genealogy research on my father's side and I do not have much to go on plus I am very new at this. My father was Thomas Evans Jones born 1919 in Uniontown, Pa to Myrtle (Kuntz) and James Grant Jones (a whelch coal miner). Myrtle was an only child. At some point her father left with all his money (They were not a poor family) to start a new life in another part of the country. He bought a car but could not drive and hired someone to drive him. He was never heard from again. His wife recieved a package with his coat in it with blood stains. The post mark, I think, was from S.C. Does any of this familiar to anyone? I need some leads to get started. Thanks in advance. Janice
