Thanks for your reply. I don't have my info. in front of me about the Kuntz/Koontz families of Marshall Co., IN. From what I understand is that my particular Kuntz/Koontz line through Adam Kuntz, Sr. came through Ohio. I don't recall a Tennessee connection, but I'd have to check my notes. I also think that the Kuntz family likely knew or were connection to the Beyler & Zimmer families who were all from the same area in Alsace & all moved to the Marshall Co., IN area. All three lines: Kuntz, Zimmer, & Beyler spent some time in Stark Co., OH before moving to Indiana. You may try looking in Stark Co., OH for some Kuntz clues, too.
Here's some info. that I can get to right away. You may already be aware of these resources. The Marshall Co. Historical Society has a bunch of great online resources through Rootsweb. Also, if you go to the Bremen Public Library's website, they have most of their obits. online: http://www.bremen.lib.in.us/historical/bpl_obituaries.asp
A search of the last name "Kuntz" reveals the results below & then also a search for "Koontz" below that list. If you search these names, you will actually see an image of the original obits. I looked at the "Green" or "Stevens" surnames, but didn't see any that match your particular given names. I'll organize my information & hopefully get back to you with more details soon.
