Hi, my wife's mother's maiden name was Anna Kutra. she
was born in Prezymsl, Poland, on the Ukrainian border...in 1922. Her mother, sister, Katarzyna and brother, Nicolas
did not emigrate to the USA. We visited there this summer
to try to find perhaps a Catholic cemetary where we might
find their graves. There wasn't enough time...and we don't
have any more information. Anna is unable to speak, she is
in the last stages of alzheimers. I can tell you that the
Nazi's took her away from her family to a work camp in Germany when she was 15 years old. The camp was liberated
in 1945 and, she ended up in Hohenfels, Military camp in temporary living quarters until coming to th e USA.
She lost contact with all of her relatives due to WW II.
If anyone knows any Kutras from the Southeastern region of Poland, I would love to hear from you.
