Heather, your William Mack Dean Kuykendall was born 17 Oct 1885 in Henderson County, North Carolina, son of Leander J. Kuykendall and wife Jane Aveline Lanning.Leander is the son of Alfred W. Kuykendall and wife Melvina Catherine Capps.
Alfred is son of my ancestor Reverend Joseph Kuykendall and first wife, Ruth Guise who died in child birth 16 March 1840 in Hendeson Co. NC with twins, one lived, one died. Ruth is the daughter of Phillip Guise and wife Nancy Edwards.
Rev.Joseph is the son of Jacob Kuykendall and wife Nancy Thomas, daughter of John Thomas, Sr. (wife's name not known by me).
Jacob Kuykendall is the oungest son of old Abraham (1719-1812) and first wife Elizabeth (Burleson??? no proof but is used as a means of identifying the Elizabeth from other Elizabeths.
