I am researching the BRUCE line and am looking for information on this couple and their children. Littleton and Susana married in Smith Co, TN on July 29, 1852. They moved from Smith Co, TN to Crittenden Co, KY between 1855-1858 and are found on the 1860, 1870 and 1880 Crittenden Co, KY census. Have been unable to locate the family or children after the 1880 census. Littleton H.C. Bruce is the son of Littleton Bruce and Jane Duff. Susana Prowell is the daughter of David Prowell and Hannah Baird. Littleton H.C.'s brother William J. Bruce and sister Martha Ann Elizabeth Bruce-Hodges also made the move from Smith Co, TN to Crittenden Co, KY. His brother William J. Bruce was very active in the Crooked Creek Church in Crittenden Co, KY. Known allied family names are DUFF, PROWELL, HALL, HODGES, ATWOOD. Here is census for Susana & Littleton H.C. Bruce and children. Does anyone know if they migrated away from Crittenden Co, KY after the 1880 census? Did the mother Jane Duff-Bruce die while in Crittenden Co, KY? If so, where is she buried?
