Hi Melisa
the information I have found so far is this, from what I have been able to find this is the names I have come up with Emma Craft was Mary Emily Craft her parents were John Wilhelm Craft 1796-1856 and mother was Elizabeth Betsy Brown 1817-1870 grandfather on fathers side was Archelous Craft 1749-1853 and mother Elizabeth Adams 1770-1810
Phillip Joseph and Georgeanna Brown were my great grandparents I have a copy of their marriage license and it has a Mary Brown and a Eute Brown as witnesses so I assume it is Mary Emily Craft her Mother, birth information I have found on her states that she was born in Greenup , Kentucky and died there, her father was from Harris Creek, Wilkes North Carolina where a lot of Cherokee came from, I to am trying to tie then all together so I can have my children and grandkids registered.I dont know if you have Berry Brown in your tree but he is a documented Cherokee and I have found copies of his grandsons application to the Cherokee Nation. there were also several children from JohnW> Craft and wives Susan Hagins( Who he divorced) and Elizabeth Betsy Brown I found some of this information on the Ancestry site from a person named sbernie611 on the Barnett tree among others
I do have pictures of my Greatgrandparents and if you look at the pictures you can see the indian traits in both of them so I like you would really like to tie it all together, If I can be of help just let me know , I am more than willing to help
Pam
