I am doing research on the building I am living in in the Old Louisville section of Louisville, Kentucky. I have come across the name H.V. Loving in the records of the building as far back as I can find. I see an H.V. Loving owning and/or living in the building between 1884-1913. However, according to the website I found this information on, 1884 is the earliest they could get an "accurate" record. It also says that if there was a resident listed in 1884, the building is probably older than that. The building style, Italiante, was introduced approximately mid-1850s, giving us a timeline of approximately 1850-1884.
I do believe that Hector Voltaire Loving is the H.V. Loving that lived in this building.
What I'm looking for are stories of previous residents/owners, how old the building is, and pictures of the building in its hey day.
Can anyone help?
