Hi Iam trying to locate Cauleys from Kentucky. Owensbourgh area. My Grand Father Charles Barret Cauley -MRD- Lula bell Jones
He was the son of Charles Cauley< we have hearde he remaried after Charles H Cauley mom died or divorced we are not sure>
Now we hearde there is Indian Blood in the Cauley AND Jones family. But no way to tell as of yet. We also believe they originaly came from Alabama but not sure on this either.There are also the names walker Cauley, Elmwood Cauley, Tom cauley and Harold cauley.
Any Info Please let me know.
Heres some of what I have
The CORLEYS that came out of VA. My Tree strts with William CORLEY of VA. From what I understand he was close friends with The BOONES of VA also. One of His Brothers Children Rebbaca Corley was Maried to one of Danial Boones Brothers. The Boones and The CORLEYS Came to KY bout the same time. I have in my tree a Jabez CORLEY son of William CORLEY. His son JAMES CORLEY, and his son Edward W CORLEY, Who changed his name to CAULEY. Edward married a Louise HOWARD. Family from Perry CO MO. She was a Native American Descent. Does anyone know of these CORLEYS? Im interested in ALL them from this line. Wives, Children, In laws, Pets,=> Anything that might relate.
