I am looking for Barbara Kiser/Keiser/Kaiser/ or any other way. She married a David Nesmith/Nessmith. I do not know anything about Barbara. All I do know is that she had at list four children, maybe more. Their names were John, James, Francis, and Florence. There could have even been a boy named Jesse. I know that Florence was born in Kansas in 1862. On the census it shows that Francis Marion Nessmith was born in Missouri. I do not know what happened to Barbara, but that David Nesmith married a woman about 1865-66. Here is the story that I know about David Nesmith/Nessmith.

David Nesmith was born in Virginia 1830. Between 1830, to 1860, he moved a round. He might have gone to Tenn., AL., may be GA. David Nessmith/Nesmith was a plantation overseer in Alabama. When the Civil War started, he did not what to be in the war, so he took his family, and first moved to Kansas. David and Barbara Keiser have 4 children, Jim, John, Francis, and Florence, There could have even been a boy named Jesse. Wife Barbara was with him in 1861, when there son Francis "Frank" Marion Nessmith was born. I am not sure where Frank was born, but in 1862, when there daughter Florence was born he was in Kansas. Sometime between 1862, and 1867, he married Susan Cave. In 1867, when his daughter Lillie was born, and in 1869, when their daughter Sarah Josephine was born, they were in Missouri. In 1870, he was in Ralls Co. Missouri, when the census was taking. He was in Sedalia, Pettis Co., Missouri, February 15, 1876, when his son David Nessmith was born. He was in Arkansas about 1883, when his daughter Annie Alabama was born. In 1887, when his wife Susan died, they were in Arkansas. He meet a woman name Alice Howell, and they had two sons. One name Charles, and the other George. Not sure where Charles was born, but George was born in Missouri about 1892. He was in Galena, Kansas about 1898, or 1899, when he was with the Stone family on the wagon train from Galena, Kansas. Then he was on his way to see his son David in Pacola, La Flore Co., Oklahoma, when he died in Gore, Oklahoma about 1900.
