Does anyone have information about the parents of Paul Bynum Kyser [b. 1857 presumably in NC, m. Emily Royster Howell], whose son James Kern "Kay" Kyser [b. 1905, Rocky Mount] was the noted bandleader of the 1940s?
A late relative is rumored to have discovered the connection between this Kyser line and our own, but if this was ever written down, it's lost.
