Hi Ed,
I haven't heard from you in a while. I've got the obituary text for Peter and Phebe and a will for Jacob, but still trying to prove/disprove whether Jacob is Peter's father. I'm hoping perhaps Shealtiel's will lists Phebe's spouse/children. I'm also hoping to find marriage information for Peter and Phebe that might also show who Peter's family is. Obit for Peter indicates that he was of the Dutch Pioneer from the Mohawk Valley descent and following that lead, I have found a listing of early Palatine immigrants who settled with these Dutch pioneers in the area of Herkimer. Johannes Kaysers is listed twice among these Palatine settlers in Ulrich Simmendinger's pamphlet, Warhoffte und glaubwurdige Verzeichnuss jeniger Personen..., (Reuttlingen, ca. 1717), with wife Margaretha and 2 children.
I'd be VERY happy to get copies of whatever you have because any little piece might fill in this puzzle about Peter's family.
