I am just getting started tracing my family genealogy. My grand father was William Kyser. His wife was Mary Kyser. They had six children in the Harlingen, TX area and later moved to Pearland, TX (near Houston). My grandfather died in the 1960's and my grandmother passed just a few years ago after remarrying a couple times. Several years ago I spoke to a "Pat" Kyser on the phone. She was tracing her family tree from Alabama and had made a connection between two brothers who served in the Civil War in Alabama, one of which seemed to have moved to TX sometime after the war. It was our impression at that time that my Kyser family from TX and hers from AL were connected and both originated from a Kyser called "Immagrant" in the Carolinas in the late 1700's. If any of this sounds familiar to you please contact me. I'd like to pick up where I left off years ago but have managed to misplace all the documents I had gathered. Thanks, Malcolm Kyser now retired to Tallassee, AL Notify Administrator about this message?
