My father was also William (Bill) Kyser, but not the same as yours. He lived in Houston. At some time in the 50s or early 60s there was some kind of explosion near Houston, perhaps at the ship channel, or somewhere nearby. There was a man named William Kyser that was killed. Many people thought it was my father because it was some sort of construction accident, and my father was in that business. It was a different William Kyser, and I wonder if it might have been your father. I don't know much more than that because I was very young. Hope that helps in some small way.
