There is a cemetery in Ingham Mills, Town of Manheim, Herkimer County, N.Y., near Kyser Lake, in which are buried many Kysers. They're not mine, so I can't answer much, but these are the earliest inscriptions:
"Jacob Kyser, died Feb. 12, 1861, Aged 90 yrs., 1 mo. and 4ds."
"Francina, wife of Jacob Kyser, died Nov. 11, 1868, AE 90 yrs., 2m., 17 ds."
"Cornelius J. Kyser, born June 16, 1799, died Aug. 29, 1853, 'Friends, let your thoughts and wishes fly about thsse gloomy shades and that bright world beyond the sky where sorrow ne'er invades.'"
"Sarah Dibell, wife of Cornelius J. Kyser, born Feb. 28, 1800, died Aug. 9, 1882, 'Blest be that hour when friends shall meet to part no more and with celestial welcome greet on an immortal shore.'"
I was told more information can be gotten from Mr. Johnson, organist, Ingham Mills Baptist Church, Little Falls, NY 13365.
