Have tried to e-mail you but it keeps coming back. Wanted to tell you that the John Shaw mentioned in the article was my great great grandfather. I have a letter he had written about his trip to Texas and the death of, at least, one of the children. Thanks for printing that,it is so interesting. Please contact me if you see this. Correze
