I have been confused about John Roddy's information. I don't think what I have is correct. You wouldn't happen to have any census on this family would you?
This is what I have....
John William Roddy, born March 3, 1834 in East Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
John was baptized June 12, 1834 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana St. Joseph Catholic Church. His Godparents are Jacob Smith and Elizabeth Thomas. He married, Martha " Ann " McCroy, the daughter of John McCroy. John remarried to Mary Rosa Arvette Berteau, who was born May 11, 1845 and died December 20, 1929. She is the daughter of Jean Louis Berteau and Marie Louise Thibaut.
John and Mary lived in Ascension Parish, Louisiana.

William Roddy, born February 1863. He married Margaret Elizabeth Harris.
Children of John Roddy and Mary Rosa Arvette Berteau
John Roddy Jr., 1861 in Galvez, Louisiana. He married November 22, 1892 to Margaret Elizabeth Beck, born around 1864.
Mary Emma Dora Roddy, born December 20, 1873 in Galvez,Ascension, Louisiana and died December 1942. She is buried in the Carpenter's Chapel Cemetery. Mary married in Plaquemines, Louisiana to Alexander Buratt,who was born August 14,1859 in Galvez, Louisiana and died July 26, 1947 in Galvez, Louisiana. He was baptisted November 2, 1927. He is the son of Eveline Roddy and Maximillian Buratt.
