Posted by: Sherry Zorzi (ID *****8657) Date: June 14, 2002 at 08:26:53   of 138 Was there once (late 1800s/early 1900s) a sawmill or lumber camp or community named Carson in Beauregard parish? My grandparents were married in Alexandria but supposedly lived in "Carson." They worked in the lumber camps - were Sicilian immigrants. I'm stumped on where to find Carson.
