Desha is a peripheral line to my main line, but here is some data I have picked up. Suggest you look also in Franklin Par.
I am looking for information on Thomas Heard, (Father of Mary Desha below)m records before 1840 or his wife Jane Cole?
Also Thomas Heard before 1860.
Both of these in Catahoula & Franklin Parish after those dates.
