When Elizabeth Barlow became a widow in 1839 in Avoyelles Parish, she was the mother of 5 children. Did she bring 3 younger children into her marriage with Bailey C. Duke in 1843? I have not been able to locate anything concerning Alice Lucretia, Mary Jake and George Lamy. They would have been either teens or young adults at the time of their mother's marriage to Bailey Duke, since they were born prior to 1830. Any help from the Duke descendants would be greatly appreciated.
