I've just located a 1930 census index for Caddo Parish LA that shows includes a Leona Volentine. Her husband William John Valentine/Volentine is not listed. This same census index references a Reuben J. Volentine and Mattie Volentine--I'm reasonably certain that this is William's brother and sister-in-law.

I've also seen the 1920 census index for Caddo Parish LA that lists William John and Leona's surname as Volentine, rather than Valentine.
