I believe John Zeagler was the son of Michael (b. 1738 of Orangeburg, SC.) and Martha Piquot Zeagler. Michael and Martha were married in 1875. Michael later married Mary Cannon in 1781.
A message posted by Gloria Lazard states the following:
"Sarah apparently moved to Jasper Texas later in life to be near her sons. I have been unable to trace her burial or further information on her. John Volentine, my great grandfather lived in Grant Parish La. and is buried in Bentley La. He fought in the civil war. I have much information on Michael and his father Frederick as well."
