I'm searching for information about Sarah J. (Sallie) Fife b. ca. 1856 LA), who married Samuel Houston Bannister on 8 May 1879 in Caldwell Parish LA. Samuel is the younger brother of my 2G-grandmother, Isabelle Bannister Valentine/Volentine, and son of Richard Bannister and Julia Olds.
I have no information about Sallie's parents or siblings. I have received information that she was born about 1856 in LA.
Sallie and Samuel had three known children:
1. Annie B. (b. 1885 LA)
2. Mattie C. (b. 1889 LA)
3. George Washington (b. 12 Feb 1889 LA)
Samuel is listed on an 1878 taxpayer roll in Catahoula Parish LA, so it's possible that their children were born there.
Any information or leads about Sallie's Fife family in particular would be appreciated. I have detailed information about Samuel's Bannister family and about their son, George W, and his family. I have little in my database about their daughters, Annie and Mattie.
