One thing I noticed on the actual image of the 1870 census is that Susans name is spelled ACOCK...you may already know this
there is a ACOCK FAMILY IN Black River CATAHOULA IN 1860 ..Could be one of them is the father of Susan ..you might want to pursue that avenue.
