Mary hello, I am also a Rushing. My Mother is Ben Rushings daughter from Franklin County MS. There is a area called Brookstown. It is between Airline Hwy and North Foster Drive going towards New Orleans, just past the Earl K.Long Hospital on the right. Not sure if this is the same area. I've only been in Baton Rouge sense 1946. This might help. Wanda
