Dear Linda:

I appreciate your message. Actually, I think I remember you, or at least your family, although I went to South Park and graduated in 1970. My family moved to west end in 1968. My brother Roger Trahan went to Caldwood and graduated from Forest Park in 1975. My sister, Cynthia Trahan, also went to Caldwood and graduated from Forest Park in 1974.

If you are related to the Saurage family, I'd be interested in obtaining your family data for the larger data base I maintain on the Marionneaux and Hargoua lines. Charles Jacob Valcourt Marionneaux and Ada Hargoua were my great-grandparents. Their daughter, Maude Mary Marionneaux was born in 1903. The family moved to Beaumont around 1915. I have a complete lineage of the descendants of Pierre Hargoua and Alphonsine Saurage, if you are interested. Pierre and Ada actually had four children. Some of the family (name changed to Hargooa) still live in the Plaquemine area. Let me know if you need more family information.

Don Trahan Beaumont, TX
