Claire, I would love to see what your Aunt has as Moses BROWN is a brother to my GG-Grandpa, Thomas BROWN and son of Richard BROWN & Jane BRIDGES BROWN.
Also do you know of a Firmin GUEDRY? I know this name probably is spelled wrong but this name appears several times in Richard BROWN's inventory in 1821. Says Mr. GUEDRY purchased a "lot of axes", "4 plows", "1 mule".
Maybe he is related to you??
