Paul: I visited the cemetery about a year ago, walked the existing rows, and went up to the office to inquire about older graves. I was told that many of the graves and ALL of the old records were lost in the great 1927 flood. You know, Randy Newman's "they're trying to wash us away, they're trying to wash us away..." [ "Louisiana 1927" from the Good Ole Boys album ]. Apparently, some of my ancestors were among those that went downstream. Dennis Lee Wimberley, TX Notify Administrator about this message?
