Hello Don,
I am Jennifer and my mom is Barbara Jean. We visited the website because we are going to New Orleans to vist our family and were also interested in where the St. Mary's plantation was located. My mother's Grand mother is Willie Mae Saurage married to Alvin Saurage decendant of the original Saurage's from Marseille,France. They settled around White Castle. I would be very interested in any information you may have on the Saurage family.
Alphonsine Saurage Hargooa's godparents were Forester and Daigre and Emme Allain. If there is any information you need that we may have let me know.
