I am currently researching the Houston/Gilmore families who first settled in North Carolina and later miagrated to Mississippi/Louisiana areas. My great-grandfathers name was
Zachariah(Zackary) K. Gilmore. He was an ordained Baptist minister and I believe he pastored a church in Mississippi for some years, possibly in Wayne County. If anyone has any information on either family in this area I would truly appreciate a response. I have a lot of information on the Houston's but not much on the Gilmore's. Thanks in advance
