I am just beginning my family tree research. My grandfather, James Henry Gilmore, died in 2007 in Collins, MO. He was the son of Albert (died in 1938) and Ethel Gilmore. James H. Gilmore was married to Virginia Forrest (died in 1977). They had 4 children: Janice, James Henry, John (my father) and Michael. My family has lived in Missouri my entire life, and my father grew up in Independence, Missouri. However, my father states that most of the family lives in the Louisiana/Mississippi area. Any information on my family would be most appreciated.
