I'm looking for the wife and any information on James Henry Huckaby born 8 Mar 1860 in Forsyth, Monroe Co., GA. His known children were Charlotte Huckaby, Frances Huckaby and Mary Elizabeth Huckaby (who was born 4 Oct 1888, Caddo Parish Louisiana died 5 Dec 1956, Livermore, CA.
James Henry Huckaby's parents were James Andrew Jackson Huckaby (13 May 1835 to 27 May 1864) and Mary Ann Elizabeth Anderson (5 Dec 1837 to 14 Nov 1907). James Henry's siblings were James W., George W. and Ann Elizabeth Josephine Huckaby. George W. is buried in Meriwether Co., GA with his mother.
I know that James Andrew Jackson Huckaby died in the Civil War at the battle of Gettysburg and is buried at Hollywood Cemetery in Richmond, VA. Mary Ann is buried in Meriwether Co., GA.
I don't know where James Henry Huckaby is buried or who his wife or other possible children were. They were in or around the Vivian, Caddo Parish area at the birth of their daughter, Mary Elizabeth. Any info would be appreciated. You can email me direct at:
