I have hit a dead end in my research and need help! Here is the info I have so far, if you know more about these families please contact me! Thanks so much in advance
Amodeo: My grandmother is Frances Amodeo, her father was Gaspare Amodeo, b. 1898, came to the USA in 1914 and settled in Chicago, IL where he died in 1963. He had one sister named Vita (married name Gigliotta). He married Josephine Impallaria and together they had 4 children - Frances, Vito, Marie Grace, and Ann. I havent been able to locate parents for Gaspare yet... any info would be helpful.
Impallaria: As above mentioned, Josephine Impallaria b. Jan 26 1902 in New York, NY married Gaspare Amodeo. She died in Chicago in 1983. I've been told her mother's name was Maria Grazia Ruggiero of Caltavuturo, Sicily. I am looking to find out who her father was, She has 2 sisters, Mary (Donato) and Regina (Sudano).
Ruggiero: As above mentioned Maria Grazia Ruggiero was Josephine's mother. She was born about 1883 in Caltavuturo, Sicily. She died in 1961 in Chicago. Any info about her parents, husband, life would be wonderful.
Coppolino: My Great Grandmother was Catherine Coppolino. She was born Jan 10 1902 in Italy and she died Feb 18 1995 in La Grange, IL. According to a census I found her mother's name was Jennie and she had 4 children - Clara, Jennie, Grace, and Angelo (all Segretto)
Segretto: My great grandfather was Angelo Segretto born in Sicily as well around 1893. He died Dec 29, 1926 in New Orleans, Louisiana 6 months before my grandfather was born. I am told his fathers name was Joseph, but I dont have any dates on him. Angelo was married to Catherine Coppolino.
