Trying to find Mother, Lilly Dietz

Hello All
I am Mike Dutra and my Wife is Sharon.
We are trying to find my wife’s mother. My wife was left by her mother when she was very young and has never heard from her mom since. We are trying to find her mother before it is too late, if it is not already. We have tried before, but every few years we find NEW ways to search, like this. Our ONLY document of her is from the marriage certificate that Sharon’s father still had. He had no other document or SSN# for her.

The marriage certificate was dated April 22 1955 from the State of Louisiana.
Her maiden name was Lilly Dietz. She was born in San Antonio Texas on July 3, 1931. She was a waitress living in Shreveport La..
Her Father was “R.A. Dietz” who was deceased at the time.
Her Mothers name was “Betty Sue Kelly Kelly” who lived in Norfolk or Nor fork England.
Lilly Dietz had been previously married to a “Del Ray Thomas” and Lilly’s name on the marriage certificate was signed Lilly Dietz Thomas, which is also what she showed her name to be at the time of marriage.
Witnesses to the marriage were a “Carlin Dietz”, “Mrs. Maud Ella Milton” and a Joseph L Braskbank”. These were script signatures so fairly hard to read on the copy we have.

We have also found that Texas is now offering birth certificates on line so we have requested one for possible more information.

If anyone out there can help us we would sure appreciate it.

Thank you for your time

Mike and Sharon Dutra
