Richard: Thanks for sending me in the right direction. I will persue this avenue on Tuesday.
I have not been able to find any family member in any census record.
My grandmother was born in St. Gabriel on April 20, 1896. I have her birth record and I also have her marriage record from Avoyelles Parish dated February 1914. You would think, with all these documents on hand I would be able to find them listed on at least one of the census. Even with all the misspellings.
