Mike: the Louisiana State Archives has an online death index at:

http://www.sos.louisiana.gov/tabid/53/Default.aspx

From Home >archives>Research Library>Vital Records>Deaths

If you do a basic search you will find Bertie L. Burson, DOD 1933, age 46, died Ouachita Parish, pg. 12030, vol. 29. You can order the certificate online for a modest fee. It is quite likely that it will give the place of interment or at least the funeral home. The Ouachita Parish GenWeb site has quite a few cemeteries transcribed. I have obtained a couple of obits by contacting the Monroe library. If you want details, just advise.
