Hi there Mike: Yeh, I figured Shooters Station was going to be a tough one. Regarding a possible Bertie Burson obit, you will first need a death date so the death certificate is where you first need to go. If an obit or death notice appeared, likely it was a day or two or three after that date. I obtained obits from Ms. Lora Pepper of the local library. Here is a link with all of the info:

Of course there is no guarantee that an obit was published but for $5, Ms. Pepper will do a search, it's worth a try. Again, the DC might give the cemetery.
