Strohmeier (Stromeyer) family information

Hi,
I am trying to research Frank Strohmeier (Stromeyer) who was born in Prussia, Germany in March 1847. He married Catharine Carey (Casey?) at New Orleans, Orleans Co., Louisiana. Their first child, Mary, was born in Louisiana Sep. 1880. By 1884 they had moved to Dubuque, Iowa, where their daughter Francis was born. On the 1870 census of New Orleans, Orleans Co., Louisiana, I found Frank (age 25) living with his mother, Mary (age 68). Does anyone know anything else about this family?
