Frank Nelson weds Dorothy Broghan, Bastrop, LA -1924

Excited to have finally found the marriage record of Frank Nelson to Dorothy Broghan in Bastrop, Morehouse Parish, LA 29 March 1924.

On the marriage record is a notation that two of the witnesses were his parents Frank, Sr. and Sophia Mittlander Nelson.

Based on family obituaries, city directories etc., I know that Frank, Sr. died between 1926 and 1930. Now, I'm wondering if he died in or near Bastrop since he witnessed his son's marriage there.

I've looked for online cem. records and haven't been successful at finding any - if there are abstracts in printed form for local cemeteries, I would appreciate it if some kind soul would look for Frank Nelson, Sr.

Dorothy Broghan Nelson was supposedly from Monroe, LA, but lived to be an aged lady (divorced) in Shreveport, LA.
