Hi-- I just realized why your family rings a bell with me! I use to coordinate PCP La rootsweb site and my own Cousin did a mjor update of an old cemetery in No. La.!!! I checked and sure enough-- there they were close to Coyles and all the rest!! Sarah E. Anderson Relict of James R. Gayle June 24, 1816 June 29, 1874 James R. Gayle Mar 6, 1812 Aug 4, 1873 They are buried at St. Stephen's Episcopal which is on the National Registar of Historic Places and located in Innis, La. --- where MY family lives of all things! I should have realized that is why I knew that name!! Visiting this church and cemetery is an extremely moving experience and you must do it!! If and when you plan to go-- I'll put you in touch with my Cousin as she has played tour guide before. Pointe Coupee Parish, La. has a fantastic Courthouse and they are preserving all the old records! You really and truly must make plans to go! This is your roots!!! I told that to another and he finally went and wrote me back telling me how right I was!!! Your roots are in Pointe Coupee Parish, La.!!!
