I found her---

Joseph had a younger sister Harriet as reflected on the 1870 Census of Claiborne Co., Miss. She is not listed with Joseph and the Anderson family in 1880 in Pointe Coupee Parish because she had married a Frenchman named Antoine PIERRE in PCP (Pointe Coupee Parish) prior to the 1880 Census. Her marriage record is also right there in the Courthouse in New Roads. Her name was Harriett Josephine Sterling b: Jun 1865 Claiborne Co., Miss and she and her French hubby died at JACOBY in Pointe Coupee Parish. Now, Jacoby is Ward 1, western part and near the Atchafayala River. There were a mess of floods and those buried on property along the river had be reburied due to flooding. Harriett's grave was one and was reburied in Greenwood Cemetery in Hammond, La.

She is definitely your Joseph's younger sister. Now the baby brother Charles Henry or Henry Charles b: 1870-3 Miss. --- I'll have to check--- he was in PCP in 1880 as shown on the census.

You would go nuts trying to locate Jacoby--- let me check with my Cousin late today as she may know cemetery locations out there. It is not far from Innis---- my Cousin lives on 417! You would go west from her house to the Atchafayala River and then go right/North along the river to Jacoby. Across the Atchafayala River is Avolleyes Parish. Jacoby is in NW PCP if you have a good map.

Will send you a contact on Harriett per e-mail....

Pauline
