Does anyone have any information on the family of Jules and Emma Walker who was listed on the 1900 census in Pointe Coupee Parish Louisiana census? They were listed as black and were listed as Jules and Emma Watkins!!!They were white people!!. Children listed were two daughters..listed as Edwardina and Matty. Edward was really a son. By the time of the 1910 census they were in DeSoto Parish Louisiana. Sometimes the census records taker must have been having a rough day and probably should have stayed in bed. Of course we are lucky to have census records to trace our families. Is anyone reading this related to the Walker families of Point Coupee LA of that time period? Bobbie in Louisiana
